This has been modified; there is a push/pull split
blend pot in the volume position, for both low and high filter.  There is a push/pull blend pot in the tone
position for both high and low filter blend.

 

The volume is under the pick guard.  The original harness and pickup will be included in the
auction.

 

There is a custom wound neck pickup.  As you can see this guitar will do anything
you want it to do.

 

The links for the modifications are all below.  This guitar has been setup to
perfection by a local luthier.  The guitar and the hard
shell case are in pristine condition.

 Up for sale is my 2006 Eastman AC520 acoustic guitar. Solid Spruce top, Mahagony back, sides, and neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. This particular instrument has some light dings on the sides and back congruent with 5 years of use, but the finish is intact and there are no cracks or repairs. The neck is straight, and the action on this guitar is comfortable, about 3.5mm @ the 12th fret, bass side. Unusually for a guitar in this price range, the bracing has been scalloped and the guitar has a much more balanced sound than one would expect: I can flatpick bass runs, strum Jazz rhythm, or fingerpick with equal facility and tone quality!  This is a Eastman AR 371 Archtop guitar. The guitar is basically brand new. It has no more than two hours playing time on it. The first thing I did when I bought it was replace the original pickup with a 57 classic pickup, which warmed up an already warm sounding guitar. Unfortunately, while switching out the pickup i scratched the finish near the cutaway. (As you can see in last photo) The scratch doesn't catch your eye unless its in the right light. Other than the scratch the guitar and case is in new condition. I'm pricing it low because of the scratch and i'm doing a buy it now because I need the money soon. Thanks for looking!
