This is a 2006 Eastman "John Pisano" Archtop Jazz Guitar - Model AR880ce. This is by far the best sounding jazz guitar I've ever heard! I've played many comparable guitars from Gibson, Gretsch, D'Angelico and Ibanez (George Benson model) to name a few, and none even come close. The acoustic quality is such, that it sounds amazing before even plugging it in! Once I did plug it in, I couldn't believe my ears! It totally blew me away! It's the most naturally warm organic sounding guitar you'll ever find. If you're a true jazz head, you'll be in tonal heaven with this masterfully handmade beauty. It has only been used in the studio for recording. It is in near mint condition. The only blemish on the guitar is a tiny section of very slight buckle rash on the back of the body that I couldn't capture with my camera. Other than that, it's perfect.I purchased this guitar new, solely for recording applications. I'm not a serious jazz player, but I incorporate jazz elements from time to time in the music I write and record, and wanted to be able to capture the most authentic jazz tones possible. Unfortunately, I rarely have a need for such tones, so it has spent most of it's life sitting in the case.I love this guitar, but I really can't justify holding on to it when I know someone could be using it to achieve jazz tonal bliss! If you search around, you'll see that I'm letting it go at an incredible price! If jazz is your thing, this guitar will be one of the best investments you'll ever make!I've added the manufacturer's description & specs for you to check out below.Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Good luck & happy bidding!

World renowned jazz guitarist John Pisano personally designed his signature model from top to bottom, with all of the features he ever wanted in a guitar. John collaborated with noted pickup designer Kent Armstrong to design a humbucking pickup that covers the complete tonal spectrum, and makes this guitar sound as good plugged in as it does acoustically. Hardshell case included.
